Council says ‘no’ to ban on concealed weapons

Council says ‘no’ to ban on concealed weapons
A Modesto City Council majority on Tuesday rejected the idea of
banning concealed weapons from council meetings. Mayor Carmen
Sabatino’s proposed ban died when none of the other five council
members seconded his motion. Councilman Bill Conrad was absent, but
has said he opposes the restriction as well.
